How to stop towels pilling and linting
Bought some new towels and finding they are shedding fluff and pilling? This is natural for a new towel especially egyptian cotton towels.
1. Wash your towels at least three times before use and place in the dryer. Best to do a towel only wash to stop lint appearing on other laundry.
2. Use a lint ball in dryer - they are described as decreasing the amount of time you spend drying your clothes and the number of wrinkles in your clothes once they are dried. 3. Try washing them with bicarb soda in the detergent section and vinegar in the rinse section.
4. Clean out your lint trap on your dryer.
