Purchased some fluffy, soft towels and want to keep them that way or have you washed your towels and found afterward they were stiff and scratchy? Some handy tips below to making your towels fluffy and soft and breathing life into old towels once again:
1. Put towels in the dryer instead of line drying. If you want to reduce electricity bills and reduce your carbon foot print, line dry until the towel is almost dry then placed in dryer.
2. Use Lux soap flakes on towels
3. Wash towels with wool wash
4. Add half a cup of bi carb to the wash, then a cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle. Vinegar softens hard water, reduces lint and increases the absorbency of the towel.
